What Type Of MLM Business Are You In?
People often come up and ask why our MLM business is growing so fast. I am going to give you several reasons. First of all it has lot to do with your attitude about what type of business we are in. We are in a health company. Most of you are in a health company but you know what, we don’t think we are selling health products. If you think you are selling health products, you are in trouble; you are not going to grow very fast. I’ll tell you why. Virtually, there is only 15% of the population in any country we have ever been in that are sick, hurt or in poor health so if you think you are selling health products that’s your market. We don’t think we are selling health products. We are looking for people who would like to have a better life. You know that 95% of your population are people who would like to have a better life. It doesn’t matter what status they have in our society. Everybody likes to move up another notch. Even the person who has the $500,000 yacht would like to move up to a million dollar yacht and then a 2 million or 5 million. Certainly people do like to have a better life.
Now we are talking 95% of the people you can talk to about your business, the 5% on the top already have the time and the money and they own their life. It’s a balance between time and money. See a lot of people work, they have good jobs, they make a lot of money but they don’t have the time to go and watch their kids play soccer or board games; in a nut shell, they don’t own their life. Retired people have a lot of time but if they don’t have enough money to go see their grandchildren anytime and they don’t own their life either. See all we are talking about is a balance between time and money. So those 5% already have the time and the money and they already own their life, we say, "Hey, they make great customers!" So with this attitude, you now have a 100% of the population that you can talk to! I can give you a couple of more examples. We were driving from Copenhagen in Denmark up the coast to Helsingborg, as I was driving up the coast and looking out at the water I could see tens of thousands of sailboats in the marinas. As we are taking the ferry across, guess what we did not see? We did not see one sailboat out in the water. Why did we not see any sailboats? Because all the people that own the boats were at their jobs. Do you really think these sail boat owners care about health products? What they care about is getting their boats out into the water sometime during the week. These people are your prospects. Once you follow through the system and understand a person needs a vehicle and you happen to have health products, they are going to love your products, you are going to end up with what we call "converts to health." These are people who have never taken health products before, so now you get the 100% of the health dollar; you are not sharing with the health store or some other competitors. You are getting the whole thing and besides a lot of you have companies that have what we call "transfer buying products", either products like toothpaste, shampoo or shower gel that people are using everyday anyway and they are already buying it in the grocery store. So basically we want to get your head around the idea of looking for people who want a better life, something more out of life- someone who desires something.
