When our family of two boys were growing up we lived in the North West and if any of you know anything about America, in the North West it rains a lot; in the fall and winter time. Our boys wanted to be professional tennis players. This motivated us to move to sunny Southern California where they had acres and acres of tennis courts and they can play all they wanted and they both became professional tennis players. Our son Greg used to practice with Pete Sampras two to three times a week for several years. They grew up in that era with Michael Chang, his brother Carl, Agassi and Courier. The one thing that all those kids had in common out there on the tennis circuit was that their parents were supporting them. Most of the other kids sat with their coach, they didn’t have their parents support as they simply didn’t have the time. Whether its tennis, cricket, gymnastics, or even sumo wrestling as we say when we are in Japan, it doesn’t matter, if the parents are there to support their children, it makes the biggest difference in the world.

So how many of your friends and family have children at home? Wouldn’t it be nice if the parents could accompany their child if they had the chance to compete or train in another city or town? This is what we are talking about, these are your prospects. When we were in Europe, we talked to people about skiing and how many people liked to ski. Wouldn’t it be better to go skiing, Monday to Friday instead just the weekend? Everyone wants more freedom and time to be with each other instead of sitting by a desk Monday to Friday. Distributors have this idea of the ideal prospect being a top producing "Sales type" well in my book (page15) and on my CD (Own Your Life) I devote a lot of time about this mistake. I have a special message for sales people. Professional sales people are only about 5% of the population 95% are the non sales people. I explain fully how to prospect Non Sales people and how to handle professional sales people in my audio training when you purchase the E-book or my book come also with a CD from www.45second.com
