Ok now I want to get into the system and how it all works. There are three steps in the system and there are several ways you can look into the first step. A simple way to start is by wearing the Own Your Life pin which I’ve found most people will ask about anyways. This gives you a chance to have a conversation with your prospect about the want to live a better life instead of coming across as a sales person.

Now if you are wearing a pin from your company, you have a major hurdle to overcome. In our company we have a three star diamond pin which we wear very proudly, but never wear in public. We only wear it at company events. The reason we don’t wear it in public is because it becomes too apparent that you’re trying to sell a product instead of trying to sell an ideal lifestyle choice.

Let me give you an analogy here. Everybody thinks that their vehicle is a hot vehicle and again the vehicle is a company product and marketing plan. Let’s say you owned a Ferrari. Now a Ferrari is a hot vehicle. Would you let your best friend go for a drive around the block in your brand new Ferrari if they didn’t know how to drive? You don’t want your business to mirror this situation. You want the people you spend the time to tell them about your business to fully understand the ins and outs. In other words, you don’t want them going out and teaching their friends how to drive when they themselves don’t have a clue. And how to drive is the key in understanding this business. Now I have already explained to you it only took four people to build our huge organization of 750,000. Why would you want to take a chance that your new member has to go out and start talking to people before they even know what they have joined? They don’t know that this isn’t sales; they don’t know it’s not a pyramid. They can’t handle objections, so what happens next is they get shot down two or three times from their friends and they end up crashing and burning. You’ll soon see it’s so simple not to make this mistake. We don’t do it that way. Before we show the vehicle we find out if they would like to learn how to drive. We try and discover what they really want to do (they need to want something) and then we teach them how to drive and once they know how to drive, they will get into any vehicle you will show them and they are not going to go out and ruin their best prospects. So I’ll give you a background overview of the system and what we are trying to accomplish here. So far I’ve mentioned the "Own Your Life" pin as one way to introduce the system.
